Terms & Conditions

On receipt of a completed application form, an applicant will receive written confirmation of his/her place.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact us if their written confirmation has not been received 5 working days prior to their course date.

Courses will be invoiced or may be paid by cheque on booking. Administration charges apply to cancellations received within 10 working days of the start of the course. However, we will be happy to accept alternative participants. Full course fees will be due and invoiced accordingly for non-attendance without prior notice. Staff from the West Kent Primary Care Trust receiving concessionary places will be charged the full amount of the course if they fail to attend without prior notice.

Invoices will be drawn against and sent to the address given on the application form and payment must be received within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Cheques made payable to: ‘The Heart of Kent Hospice’.

All visitors attending training on site are subject to our Health and Safety rules.

All courses are run subject to the minimum numbers stated for each course. The Heart of Kent Hospice reserves the right to cancel a course if minimum numbers are not met.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of a course or workshop.
