“A GIRLS NIGHT OUT”
Come on all you girls, why not join us for our second Moonlit Walk to be held on Saturday 5th July, kindly sponsored by Brachers Solicitors.
The half marathon event for women only will start at midnight from the Community Centre in Kingshill, West Malling and follow a circular route along well lit pavements to the Hospice grounds and back again.
Refreshments and resting points will be available at Larkfield Methodist Church in London Road (approx ¼ way) and at ½ way registration point (Preston Hall),
It is a great opportunity to remember loved ones, get together with friends, or to use as a challenge to get fit. Fancy dress is optional.
Last year this event raised over £30,000 thanks to the efforts of over 300 walkers.
This year we plan to make the event even bigger and better with street entertainment on the night, a fun warm up to get everyone in the mood and even Meridian TV’s Sangeeta Bahbra to join in the excitement.
The entry fee is just £15 which includes free parking, a T-shirt, wristband, a medal, free one month membership for Curves fitness Centre. and a well-earned bacon roll or vegetarian sausage bap at the finish. Walkers need to pre-book to guarantee places.
Calling all men -Men are needed for the night too – they can help by being a marshal on the night and offering support and encouragement to wives, partners, daughters, girlfriends, sisters, aunts, mothers or even grandmothers.
