KM Maidstone Big Charity Quiz

The Maidstone Big Charity Quiz will take place at the Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park on Friday 14th November 2008. The aim is to attract more than 67 teams of eight people to take part so we can set a new record for the biggest charity quiz night to be staged in Maidstone. Three caused will benefit from proceeds raised at the event and The Heart of Kent Hospice is one of them. Quad Bike Safari

Quad Bike Safari to make your pulses race! Saturday 8th November 2008

The Heart of Kent Hospice is stepping up the adrenalin drive with an exciting new event for supporters. We are promising a sheer driving experience over two hours and a day to remember. We have teamed up with the Ian Wright Organisation in West Malling to give supporters a fun exhilarating and physically demanding, type of day. We will be hiring Suzuki 160cc quad bikes that are arguably the most able when it comes to the rough stuff. These bikes can go places nothing else can-between trees up and down slopes and in and out of ditches. Experience for yourself this highly exciting and novel way of off roading. The Ian Wright Organization is at Ashtree Farm, West Malling and run by a British sporting trials champion.

The event will be in two hour slots starting at 9.30am which will include a safety briefing and practice, an obstacle course and an off road safari. All this for only £60. The second time slot will be at 12.30 pm.

Corporate Go Karting with Bizlinx

Bixlinx networking group will once again host their highly successful business Go karting challenge day, this time at Hoddedson Karting Club on Thursday 16th October 2008. Lis Joyce, Balreed Digitec, and Julie Anderson, RAP Office Contracts are sponsoring the event and will be encouraging all businesses that think they are first in their field to prove it on this fun packed adrenalin pumping day. It will be a great team builder for all staff taking part as well as being great for moral.

We have decided to host the event at Hoddesdon Karting club as they were the winners of the last event- the Buckmore Park Challenge.

Hoddesdon Kart club is at Rye House Kart Raceway, Rye Road, Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 OEH. We are looking for teams of six racers, the entry fee is £300 and a further £600 needs to be raised in sponsorship for the hospice. Tandem Skydive - Sunday 28th September 2008 at Headcorn

We are looking for intrepid people to take part in a sponsored 10,000 feet tandem freefall parachute jump on our behalf. We have just 15 places available and are expecting them to be filled quickly.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity, and all for free when you raise the minimum sponsorship of £405-00.

The Heart of Kent Hospice Golf Day

The Heart of Kent Hospice is delighted to announce we will be staging our first fundraising Golf Day on Thursday the 18th of September 2008.

This event is open to both individuals and companies and we have 18 teams of four available.

The price per team is £199-00 and your day will include the following;

• Coffee & Bacon roll on arrival

• Goody bag for each golfer

• 18 Holes of golf (stableford)

• 2 course meal.

• The chance to win a brand new car.

• Longest drive and nearest the pin competition.

• Prizes.

• The Post golf activities will be hosted by top comedian Micky Pugh.

• Charity Auction and raffle.

In addition to the Golf, you can also show your support for the Hospice by sponsoring a hole. This includes your name appearing on signage at the tee of the hole you sponsored and this is repeated within the event programme.
