As a Business

Introduction

We need your help

The Heart of Kent Hospice’s Business Partners are companies who help support us on a regular basis, either exclusively or alongside other charities. Becoming a Business Partner to The Heart of Kent Hospice is a mutually beneficial relationship

Together we can make a difference

We invite you to work with us as part of the team caring for patients, and their relatives, who are affected by life threatening illness. You can get involved by:

  • Payroll Giving (GAYE) Give As You Earn or Pennies from Heaven
  • Sponsorship of annual events e.g. Light up a Life
  • Sponsorship of space on our website, banners and links to your corporate pages
  • Volunteering practical assistance - let your staff have a day to help us in a very practical way for instance, gardening, cleaning the windows, decorating etc
  • Organising your own fundraising events in aid of the Hospice. We can give you ideas and plenty of support including PR
  • Joining in or supporting staff and volunteers at a Heart of Kent Hospice organised event - Pancake race, Business Relay, the Rudolph Run, Ladies Moonlight Walk
  • Participating in one of our national or international challenges - London Marathon, Ladies Hydra 5k, White-water rafting, London to Paris bike ride, Inca Trail in Peru
  • Donating products or services in kind, to help keep our costs down
  • Sponsoring a Nurse - You and your staff can sponsor one of our professional nursing team for one day, week month or even a year!

The Heart of Kent Hospice received only 29% of annual running costs from Government funding.

All of the rest is raised through the generosity of individuals, companies and groups. Only with your help is our care possible.

Your support makes a difference

Why get involved?

Holding your own events and fundraising for charity can be fun and provides a great opportunity for team building with staff.

Businesses often approach local media with their fundraising efforts, and if you have novel idea or an interesting photo opportunity you could be in the local news enhancing your public profile.

No matter how small or large your company is, you can get involved.

What are you doing to get involved?
