How You Can Help

Volunteers

Our volunteers carry out a vital role in assisting staff both in the Hospice and out in the local community and it is their commitment and support that enables us to excel in what we do.

If you are interested in using your skills and talents to help others, then volunteering for the Hospice could be for you. The roles are many and varied and include clerical, driving, fund raising, receptionists, shop volunteers and ward helpers.

Who volunteers?

Our volunteers are people from our local community with the gift of time to give. They are of all ages and have a wide range of interests and backgrounds.

Volunteering can also be a good way to build confidence in preparation for the work place. Evidence of regular involvement in volunteering activities can enhance your CV.
