We are thrilled to be partnering with Wild in Art, the UK’s leader in the production of spectacular, mass-market, public art events, to deliver a new, high-quality tourist attraction in Maidstone for the public to enjoy from June – September 2020. The trail will be accompanied by a learning programme in schools, a community development programme and sponsorship opportunities for businesses – everyone will be encouraged to get involved!
For Heart of Kent Hospice, Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade is an exciting and high-profile way to raise awareness of the Hospice and how we support and care for local people who have a terminal illness as well as their families. It will also raise much needed funds to support our work.
Up and down the country, cities and towns have been transformed by the installation of Wild in Art’s spectacular mass-market public art trails. They have a proven track record in:
Boosting economic growth
Re-invigorating local tourist attractions
Instilling civic pride in local residents
Attracting new visitors to regenerated areas
Increasing the health and wellbeing of the local population through increased activity
Encouraging families to spend more time together
Raising vital funds to support local Hospices
We are currently seeking corporate support for each of the sculptures on the trail. By sponsoring a sculpture in Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade for £5,000 + vat you will be associated with bringing this high-quality and ambitious new initiative to Maidstone, benefit from a comprehensive media and PR programme and so much more.
Many local businesses and organisations have already pledged to support this exciting initiative.
‘Westerhill Homes are delighted to be an Official Presenting Partner for Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade. This is a fantastic initiative that will bring the people of Kent, local businesses, schools and the Hospice together in a way that enables everyone to get involved. Maidstone and the County of Kent are very close to our hearts with many of us at Westerhill living as well as working in Maidstone. To help raise awareness of the Hospice as well as strengthen the profile of our business and our home town through the art trail is very exciting.’ Ian Savage, CEO, Chartway Group
