We appreciate that your family and friends play a vital role in helping you come to terms with your illness and preserving your health and sense of wellbeing. At times this can make life stressful and challenging for them, which is why our care and support encompasses all of you. Our Family Support Team provide tailored emotional, psychological, social and spiritual support to everyone affected, regardless of whether you are living in your own home with loved ones, in another place of care, or staying at the Hospice.
Links to useful information during the coronavirus crisis
We know that this is a worrying time for you and family. This link will take you to a printable document of useful contacts which we hope will be of help to you or your family and friends.
There is also important information on the NHS and Government’s websites and this is provided in different languages and formats.
We have set up a peer to peer support group on Facebook which is open to all our patients and their carers. This closed group will enable you to connect and support each other. You can ask our Family Support Team for the details (01622 792200 ext 260 or email firstname.lastname@example.org) or request to join the group on Facebook using this link.
