Coins For Care

Coins For Care

Make your old £1 coins count!

Please save up your old £1 coins and donate them to us before the familiar round pound ceases to be legal currency from 15 October 2017.

Our campaign, coined Coins for Care, is asking members of the public to dig out their piggy banks and loose change jars, search their wallets and purses, and scour the backs of their sofas to help support local people with terminal illnesses.

To make your old £1 coins count all you need to do is;

  • download a collection label
  • gets friends and family to join in to
  • collect your old £1 coins
  • complete the giftaid declaration on the collection label and take it along with your collected coins to one of our 14 charity shops, Heart of Flavour Café, Maidstone, bring them into the Hospice in Aylesford, or take them to official collectors in Fremlin Walk on 9th September.

91p in every £1 donated is spent on patient care.
