Heart of Kent Hospice provides specialist care and support for terminally ill people and their loved ones, so they can have the best quality of life, for as long as they live.
We have 46 amazing nurses and health care assistants caring for patients both at the Hospice and in the community. Our Hospice Community Team helps to bring the skills, care and compassion of the Hospice team to enable patients to be cared for at home. Our Inpatient unit now has ten bedrooms, all with French doors that open out on to our Hospice garden.
The care we provide is not simply medical, our Family Services Team ensure we offer and provide patients and their families with care, support and practical help too. In this our 30th anniversary year, it has cemented our Hospice’s important role in the local community and just how vital that compassionate care is to local families.
"We cannot put into words how grateful we are for your care, your kindness, you support and love when you looked after Kay in her last days. You didn’t just care for her but us as well. The work you do is incredible and you have touched our lives at such a difficult time.” Kay's family
We don’t charge a penny for our services and that is only possible because of donations made by people like you. No matter how you choose to support our Hospice, your donation will mean that we can continuing caring for the next 30 years. Thank you.
