We are delighted to be one of a growing number of ECHO hubs providing specialist knowledge and regular training to different networks of healthcare professionals.
The aim of Project ECHO is to increase understanding of palliative and end-of-life care. In doing so we hope to increase the number of people receiving good quality care and support at the end of their lives.
Our first knowledge network is made up of End of Life Care Champions from Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust. After the first year of running Project ECHO, we hope to extend the reach of our training to include other groups of healthcare professionals.
Project Echo is just one of the innovative ways we share our expertise about end-of-life care. We also provide workshops and bespoke training to nurses and health and social care professionals.
Access to a knowledge network is by invitation only. To find out more about Project ECHO or participate in a network please contact the Hospice on 01622 792200.
