We are delighted to be one of a growing number of Project ECHO® hubs in the UK providing specialist knowledge and regular training to different networks of healthcare professionals.

Project ECHO®, which stands for Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes, is a movement whose mission is to develop the capacity to share knowledge and increase provision of best practice care for underserved people all over the world. It enables learners at the 'spokes' to increase knowledge and confidence in specialist topics by giving them regular access to an expert multidisciplinary team at the 'hub' through tele-mentoring. By taking part in this exciting project, we hope to increase the number of people receiving good quality care and support at the end of their lives.

Our first knowledge network is made up of End of Life Care Champions from Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. We hope to extend the reach of our training by starting other knowledge networks soon.

Project ECHO® is just one of the innovative ways we share our expertise about end-of-life care. We also provide workshops and bespoke training to nurses and other health and social care professionals.

Access to a knowledge network is by invitation only. To find out more about Project ECHO® or participate in a knowledge network please email us on echo@hokh.co.uk.
