At Heart of Kent Hospice we have a reputation for delivering first-class training to other health and social care professionals, including the NHS, care homes, the voluntary sector and local authorities.
We are committed to sharing best practice to help raise standards of end-of-life care, so that every person with a terminal illness in our catchment area has the support they and their family needs, whether they are a patient of ours or under someone else’s care.
This has not changed because of the coronavirus pandemic. With the exception of Placement days, we continue to offer all of our workshops and courses which, for the time being, will be run through live Zoom sessions and e-learning. We are not able to offer Placement days for the foreseeable future.
All of our courses are planned and facilitated by our team of clinical or community specialists and include a range of learning approaches including theory, discussion, reflection and participation.
The following end-of-life skills courses need to be booked by calling Louisa Terry directly.
If you would like to know the cost or have any questions about the courses, or if you would like to register your interest for future dates or arrange bespoke training, please contact Louisa Terry, Head of Education and Training on 01622 792200 ext 214 or email louisa.terry@hokh.co.uk or Geraldine Guiver, Clinical Educator on 01622 792200 ext 216 geraldine.guiver@hokh.co.uk
