This is a theory and group work based session. This workshop raises awareness of the vital importance of good communication skills in end-of-life care. It equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to know when and how to initiate end-of-life conversations and the potential blocks for patients in expressing themselves. Finally it enables participants to develop their own style to feel comfortable in patient focused consultations.
“It was an eye opener to know how important effective communication with patients and their families is at the end-of-life.” Communication skills delegate.
