The ECEPC is an accredited course for medical and nursing staff, paramedics and allied health professionals who would like a qualification in palliative care. Course delegates need to be qualified in their fields and have direct contact with patients receiving end-of-life care. We had 100% pass rate for the Autumn 2020 cohort which was delivered remotely to candidates throughout Kent, Essex and N. Ireland. This is an accreditation course (15 credits at level 6 study).

The course is run entirely as a distance learning course and the assessment has been adapted to be undertaken remotely. It is co-ordinated by Princess Alice Hospice and run by various hospices around the country, including Heart of Kent Hospice.

The course costs £500 takes place twice a year in the spring and autumn over 8 – 12 weeks.
