This theory based workshop is for registered nurses who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in the management of symptoms both in palliative and end-of-life care. The workshop enables participants to further understand the importance of effective pain management and control of all symptoms affecting quality of life. It also covers recognising palliative care emergencies and the potential communication challenges and ethical dilemmas at end-of-life.
