This free workshop has been designed following discussions with the Kent and Medway NHS COVID-19 Response Group.

NHS organisations in Kent and Medway have been working together with partner organisation in the care sector to ensure they can collectively meet the challenges raised by the coronavirus pandemic.

One of those challenges has been verifying deaths in nursing homes in a timely manner when key personnel are elsewhere.

This theory-based workshop is suitable for healthcare assistants working in residential and nursing homes. It will enable the participant to verify an expected death among their residents with a medical practitioner remotely and is valid for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic.
