Thank you to our 342 runners from all over Kent who took part in Maidstone Road Run last Sunday. Following the success of the day we are hoping to raise a tremendous £12,000 for the Hospice.
Thank you to Bookers, Rochester for our Evian water bottles, High 5 Sports Nutrition for the energy gels and zero sports nutrition capsules. Tom Phillips - photographer and all our volunteers who helped on the day.
Simon James, CEO KIMS Hospital our headline sponsor comments, “KIMS Hospital was delighted to sponsor the Heart of Kent Hospice Maidstone Run on Sunday. It was a fantastic event supported by so many local people and our Physical Therapy team were kept busy giving well deserved massages to runners. The KIMS Hospital team have chosen the Heart of Kent Hospice, to be our Charity of the Year for a second time because of the fantastic work they do for their patients and their relatives from Kent and we are proud to be supporting them throughout the year. Both KIMS Hospital and the Heart of Kent Hospice have a special role to play in caring for the people in the Kent community, and by running in or supporting their Maidstone Run we are all playing our part in that! Well done and congratulations to everyone who took part, volunteered to help on the day or went along to support!”Back to News
