Book nowWe invite you to join us for a service of remembrance and reflection, to light a candle and dedicate a star in memory of your loved ones at The Friars, Aylesford Priory on Sunday 10 December, at 4:30pm.
For many, Christmas is a time for celebration and joy. But it can be a painful time of year if you are grieving. When your heart is hurting, it’s not easy to join in with all the fun and laughter. Light up a Life is a beautiful, poignant occasion which we arrange for you – to bring you some strength and solace.
At the service, you will be in the company of others who are remembering loved-ones too, and it can be comforting to know that you are not alone. Please come with a friend or with your family – or come on your own with your private reflections and cherished memories. Everyone is welcome. The programme of uplifting music and words is sure to touch the hearts of everybody who attends.
If you are unable to attend the service, you can still make a dedication to those who lit up your life. Every day, another person like you experiences the pain of grief. And your heart reaches out to them with compassion - because you’ve been there too. Will you give strength to the Hospice team as they comfort others in their grief this winter?
