The run offers three distances providing the perfect warm up for the Spring race season. We offer a chip timed circular half marathon, 10K run and 5K run with all routes departing from Cornwallis Academy. All routes set off in stages but enjoy the same first kilometre.
For families and our younger runners, we are also offering a 1k Family fun run. Each runner receives special finishers medal.
A fantastic opportunity to run a half marathon (13.1miles) along this beautiful yet challenging road route. A perfect training run and warm up for any spring marathon.
Take on our circular 10k route through the beautiful Boughton Monchelsea. A wonderful run for intermediate runners and those wanting to challenge themselves.
Taking in part of the half marathon and 10k routes this is a perfect yet challenging run for all abilities.
Perfect for our younger runners the 1k Family fun run takes place on site at Cornwallis Academy. Come in your favourite fancy dress and run, walk, skip or hop your way to the finish line.
Registration from 9:30am. Run starts at 10:10am

The event organiser will be following the latest government covid guidance in accordance with running an outdoor sport event. Full details of the event Covid safety measures will be included in the final instructions sent to runners in the lead up to the event.
For the safety of the participants taking part and other road users, we will be applying to Kent Country Council for a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order for various roads on the route of Maidstone Road Run, throughout Boughton Monchelsea, Chart Sutton, Linton and the surrounding villages. All local residents affected by the closures should receive full details in writing prior to the event.
On the day of the run, we aim to cause as little inconvenience as possible to residents and visitors to the area. We will be placing marshals at various places along the route where the road closures are in place with clear signage for each closureWe ask that all drivers and cyclists abide by the road closures and please take care when driving locally between 8:30am and 1pm on the day. Access for emergency vehicles and residents with urgent requirements will be granted by our marshals but vehicles will need to travel at 5mph.
