Making a Will protects your loved ones when you die, but nearly two-thirds of adults in the UK have not made one.  A Will ensures that your wishes are carried out and that your money and possessions go to the people and causes you care about.

To make it easy, we are partnering with eight local solicitors during 2020, as part of our Make a Will initiative. This is a great opportunity to write or update your Will using their professional expertise, and each solicitor has generously agreed to waive their fees.

Instead, they are asking for a suggested donation towards the vital work of Heart of Kent Hospice.

So not only will you be taking care of the people you love, you will be helping to support the people and the families that we care for.

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak a number of Solicitors are moving to online and telephone appointments, whilst others are postponing their appointments until they are able to meet face to face. We would encourage you to call your chosen Solicitor and follow the guidance issued by them.  Each Solicitor has a set number of appointments that they have set aside for Heart of Kent Hospice.

If anyone has any questions or queries regarding our Make a Will scheme please contact Claire Ashby, Supporter Care Manager on 01622 792200 x 242 or email claire.ashby@hokh.co.uk
