Moonlit Walk is proudly supported by Version 1

Version 1 said:

“Pre pandemic, the Version 1 Kent office decided they wanted to provide charity support to Heart of Kent hospice through our Community First scheme.  A number of people from the office had previous involvements with the hospice.  Around June this year we were looking at ways to kick start the scheme.  We looked at sponsoring a few charity events in the South East of England, this walk was a perfect fit.  We look forwards to working with the hospice again in the future”.

Fundraise for our Hospice by getting sponsorship for your walk

Our Hospice services cost £5 million to run, with over £4 million raised through the generosity of our local community, including through events like Moonlit Walk. Your support makes a huge difference and enables us to care for even more terminally ill patients and their families. Why not ask your family, friends, colleagues and contacts to sponsor your walk and help us raise even more money through this event. We suggest a minimum target of £50.00. Our fundraising team are here to support you, and offer helpful tips on how best to encourage sponsorship. You can contact the team at events@hokh.co.uk or call 01622 790195.

If you are booking your tickets online, you will be automatically redirected to our fundraising platform, Enthuse, where you can create your fundraising page. Alternatively you can use another provider such as Just Giving or create a fundraiser on Facebook or other social media platforms.

With your support, we can make a real difference.

Marion tells how the Hospice Community Team supported her in caring for her husband Peter, enabling him to die at home surrounded by his family.

"The Hospice made such a difference. Joerg and the community team helped me more than they will ever know. With their help, Peter was fighting to the end. When he died, he knew I was with him. He had his children around him and his ‘mutleys’ - our two Westies - lying across his legs."
