Have you ever imagined yourself in the boardroom of the famous TV programme ‘Dragons Den’, but with a feel-good factor thrown in?
Challenge your colleagues to turn £30 into hundreds or even thousands for Heart of Kent Hospice by getting involved in our 2021 Accumulator Challenge. Compete against other local businesses or your own local branches to become the Great Accumulator.
How does it work?
The challenge kicks off on 1 October and ends on 31 December 2021. We will kick-start your fundraising with a £30 starter fund, then it’s down to your team to make it grow as big as possible in three months. You’ll be invited to a launch and introduction event, where we will share hints and tips and you can meet the other participants and weigh out your competition.
Why take part?
Whether you’re a small business or a department in a large organisation, the Accumulator Challenge is open to all.
Our first Accumulator Challenge took place in 2019 and to celebrate our 30th anniversary we want to make our 2021 even bigger. Heart of Kent Hospice relies on the generosity of its loyal supporters to raise £4 out of every £5 it spends caring for terminally ill patients in Maidstone and surrounding areas.
What you’ll receive in return
Our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Sasha Kamenetski, is on hand to help you throughout the challenge. We’ll encourage you all the way with regular check-ins to support your fundraising activities and provide you with ideas and tips. Participating teams will be invited to join a private Facebook Group where you can showcase what you have been up to and get the competitive vibe flowing between teams. Each fortnight we’ll share the leader board results so you can see how you compare against the competition.
In January 2022 we will host the End of Challenge Awards and Thank You Event.
So, is your team up for the challenge?
