If you are a Trustee of a charitable trust, foundation or other grant-making organisation, you can provide outstanding compassionate care to people and families who are coping with the challenges of living with a terminal illness by giving to Heart of Kent Hospice.

We are enormously grateful to the charitable trusts and foundations that support Heart of Kent Hospice with unrestricted grants towards core costs, or the purchase of equipment or one-off projects. Here are some examples of grants given in recent years:

  • £45,000 over three years towards the running costs of the Dementia Service, supporting an ever-increasing number of people who are living with the impact of this illness.
  • A quarterly unrestricted grant of £5,000
  • £2,000 to help pay for our wonderful housekeeping team who keep the Hospice bright and clean and free of infection.
  • £1,000 towards the cost of new pressure-relief mattresses for each of the beds on our Inpatient Unit.

As well as seeking funds for the day-to-day provision of our specialist care, we have lots of plans to improve our services which won’t happen unless they are funded. Would you like to find out if any of these plans fit with your organisation’s aims and ambitions? We would love to hear from you, if so.
