Would you like to fund a day of care at Heart of Kent Hospice?
It’s hard to truly express the monumental difference you make when you Pay for a day of care.
Taking part in Pay for a day means the world to our patients and their families. To be surrounded by compassionate experts who will take care of you, answer your questions, allay your fears and ease your pain, is a huge relief.
For the friends and families, when their loved one is as the Hospice it can mean a weight off their minds as they know their loved one is getting the best care possible 24 hours a day. The knowledge that specialists are on hand who they can turn to, whether about their loved one’s health or in supporting them through a truly difficult and emotional time, is extremely reassuring.
It can give them back some normality as they stop being carers and return to being family, friends and loved ones and allowing them to concentrate on enjoying the precious time they have together.
It costs £5,000 a day to provide personalised, specialist care on our Inpatient Unit, where at any one time we will have up to 10 patients. Some patients are able to return home when they are well enough, but many choose to spend their last days with us. Your donation of £5,000 will ensure we can provide specialist care in the warm and friendly environment of the Hospice for a whole day.
When you choose to pay for 24 hours of specialist care at Heart of Kent Hospice, this can be as a one off donation or by fundraising throughout the year with your company, friends or group. Our dedicated fundraising team are on hand to help you no matter how you choose to take part. There is no limit on the number of days you can pay for, and you can even nominate a specific day which is important to you.
