Volunteer in our Shops

Volunteer in our Shops

Volunteers are vital when it comes to running our 15 shops and we rely on their commitment and enthusiasm to keep our shops stocked and the doors open. We are always looking for new people to join our retail team or help in our coffee shops.

If helping to sort and prepare donated clothes, displaying stock, working a till, creating exciting window designs and providing great customer service appeals to you, then volunteering to help in our shop would be right up your street.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. For those just entering the world of work, volunteering is a good opportunity to gain new skills and provides useful experience for further training or career choices.

All our volunteers are local people who are able to donate their gift of time. All new volunteers receive an induction, training and are kept up to date about the work of the hospice through newsletters and team meetings.

If you are interested in volunteering, then please pop into your local shop or contact our Volunteer Services Development Officer by telephoning 01622 792200 Extension 225.
