How can we help?

What's happening?

Caring for a loved one with dementia

We know that caring for someone with dementia can be challenging and stressful at the best of times. Right now it is especially hard. The groups you used to attend including our Dementia Café and Making Memories® programme have been cancelled and so keeping your loved one entertained, stimulated and indoors can be a daily struggle.

We want you to know the Hospice is here for you at the end of the phone and, based on your questions and concerns, we have put together a short video which we hope will support you in helping to keep your loved one safe and occupied during this difficult time.

How you can support us

To be able to provide compassionate end of life care free of charge, we need to raise over £4 million each year. Only 20% of our funding comes from the Government, which is why whether you’re making a donation, participating in one of our fundraising events, or organising one of your own, your contribution is vital to our work.
