Gifting £1,000 or more
Could you give a significant donation to support the services provided by Heart of Kent Hospice? We depend on the kindness of people like you to enable us to provide our care to everyone who needs us.

Are you considering making a significant donation to support the work of the hospice?
When you donate to Heart of Kent Hospice you are providing compassionate care to people living with a terminal illness, helping them and their loved ones to navigate the challenges ahead. Of course, the larger the gift, the more difference you will be making.
We understand you may have a few questions before you decide.
We would love the opportunity to speak to you so we can ensure that giving a significant gift to Heart of Kent Hospice is a rewarding experience for you. If you would like that too, please contact our Fundraising Team at fundraising@hokh.co.uk or on 01622 790195.
I think what it would help people to know is that the hospice isn’t about dying, it’s about enabling you to live with the time that you’ve got left.
We've compiled a list of FAQs to help answer your questions:
How will you spend my donation?
Most people give towards the general running of the hospice, which includes essentials like keeping the lights on. Others choose to support a specific area of our work. Please contact us if you would like to know more about giving towards something specific such as one of our core services:
- Care at Home – supporting people with a terminal illness to enjoy the best possible quality of life in their own homes.
- Dementia Care – award winning, specialist clinical and emotional support which is available immediately after diagnosis and throughout the illness.
- Family Support – including counselling, bereavement support, spiritual care, welfare advice, and pre-bereavement support for children who have a parent with a terminal illness.
- Inpatient Unit – for patients who choose the hospice for end-of-life care and for those who need their symptoms stabilised before returning home.
Can I make my gift anonymously?
Yes, of course. But if you tell us the gift is from you, it will be a pleasure to say “thank-you”. We keep the details of all donations and donors confidential unless we have express permission from a donor to share information about them. You can also tell us how you would like us to contact you in future.
How can I find out how the hospice is managed?
We produce a broad range of documents to keep our supporters informed, these include our Strategic Direction document, annual Impact Report, Trustees’ Report, Financial Statement and our Care Quality Commission report. You can access all of these documents by clicking on the button below:
