Volunteer for us
Do you have a few hours to spare each week? Be part of something special!

We are fortunate to have over 600 volunteers at Heart of Kent Hospice
Our volunteers range in age from 14-95 and play a vital part in the work of the hospice.
Over half of our volunteers support our retail shops in the local community, while others give their time to help in the hospice or at our fundraising events.
There are many reasons why our volunteers get involved in our hospice. For some it is about giving back to the community and for others, it is their special way of saying thank you to the hospice for the care of a loved one.
To find out more about volunteering, please contact the People Services Team at volunteers@hokh.co.uk or call 01622 792200.
Volunteering looks different for everyone
For Elaine and Terry, it started with a bit of spare time and a chance to do some good.
Watch as they share how giving a few hours a week has given them connection, purpose, and something to be genuinely proud of.
Volunteers have always been at the heart of our work and are vital to our charity.
Our community needs us more than ever, and we need you
Every hour you give helps us reach more people in our community who need our care. Whether you can spare a few hours a fortnight, a regular half day each week, or want to get involved in a short-term project, there is a way to volunteer that works for you. Whatever your skills, your time makes a real difference to the people we support.
