European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care (ECEPC)

The ECEPC is a course for medical and nursing staff, paramedics and allied health professionals who would like a qualification in palliative care. Course delegates need to be qualified in their fields and have direct contact with patients receiving end-of-life care.

The course is run entirely as a distance learning course and the assessment is to be undertaken remotely. It is co-ordinated by Princess Alice Hospice and run by various hospices around the country, with Heart of Kent Hospice being one of the local sites.

The course costs £600 takes place twice a year - in the spring and autumn, over 9 weeks.
