Brachers names Heart of Kent Hospice as Charity of the Year for 2026

We are delighted to share that Maidstone law firm Brachers has chosen Heart of Kent Hospice as its Charity of the Year for 2026!

The partnership will bring a year of fundraising, volunteering and community-focused activity in support of our work caring for adults living with a terminal illness, and the loved ones by their side.

We were chosen in recognition of our longstanding impact on the local community and the connection many at Brachers feel to the care we provide. It is a distinction we are truly grateful for.

For 35 years, we have provided specialist care and support to people across Maidstone and the surrounding area, helping them live as fully and comfortably as possible and ensuring their final days are peaceful and dignified, wherever they choose to be. Since opening, we have supported more than 63,000 people and their loved ones through the challenges of terminal illness.

Brachers has been part of the fabric of Kent for over 130 years, with a longstanding commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. In recent years, the firm's people have raised more than £40,000 for charities across the county, and we are proud to be part of that story in 2026.
