Moving and Handling - theory and practical

This workshop is for all healthcare workers
This workshop is designed to provide healthcare workers with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely move and handle patients. The session covers the principles of safe moving and handling, including risk assessment, safe use of equipment, appropriate techniques and the importance of maintaining dignity and promoting patient independence.
The workshop combines theory with practical skills, allowing delegates to develop confidence in applying safe moving and handling techniques in practice. Delegates will have the opportunity to practise using a range of commonly used equipment and demonstrate their competency in safe patient handling.
