Compassionate conversations: Supporting Patients and Families at end of life

This workshop is for all healthcare workers
This workshop is designed to help healthcare workers develop the knowledge, confidence and communication skills needed to have compassionate conversations with patients and families at the end of life. The session explores how to communicate sensitively and effectively when discussing difficult or emotional topics, while recognising and responding to the individual needs, wishes and concerns of patients and those close to them.
The workshop combines theory with practical communication skills, providing delegates with the opportunity to explore realistic scenarios and develop strategies for managing challenging conversations. Delegates will gain greater confidence in providing compassionate, person-centred support and communicating with empathy during the end-of-life journey.
To discuss the course or register your interest in future dates, please contact our Education and Training Team at education@hokh.co.uk or call 01622 792200.
