Britannia MOT wins award for supporting local charities

It was wonderful to see one of our corporate supporters being recognised for their impact on the local community after winning an industry award from the Independent Garage Association (IGA).

On Saturday morning, we were delighted to join Britannia MOT & Repair Centre in celebrating their recent recognition at the Independent Garage Association (IGA) awards. The event was shared with two other charities supported by the team at Britannia - Kent Search and Rescue and Young Lives Foundation.

Britannia was awarded for their efforts in supporting these charities, providing maintenance and repairs for their vehicles, donating their labour, and providing parts at cost, allowing the charities to refocus their budgets toward continuing their important services to the community.

The brainchild of Mick & Roz Bentley (owners) has made a real tangible difference. With recognition from the IGA, it is hoped that similar initiatives will be mirrored across other garages, spreading the positive impact far and wide.
