The Bluebell Walk follows a picturesque leisurely six-mile ramble taking you amongst the stunning bluebells and through enchanting woodland on the North Downs.

When buying a fundraising ticket, you are pledging to raise funds for Heart of Kent Hospice, which will enable us to continue supporting those at the end of their lives and their families. You have until Wednesday 2 June to raise your pledged amount!

Each ticket includes a Bluebell Walk branded t-shirt!

Take part in our Virtual Walk! As our usual route is not accessible for everyone, enjoy a 6 mile walk from home, your way, your pace, while fundraising for vital care.

What to expect on the day

Step into a day to remember as your journey begins at our vibrant Event Village, where a selection of refreshments will be available to purchase on arrival. Walkers will set off in relaxed waves, following our fully guided routes through the stunning landscapes of the Kent Downs, with breath-taking views at every turn.

Along the walk, visit our peaceful Field of Remembrance. Enjoy a cold drink, reflect, or simply relax with a picnic of your own. You’ll also find our memory wall along the route at this picnic spot, where you’re invited to dedicate a message - write a name, a note, or a simple thought and add it to the wall in remembrance.

Each ticket includes a Bluebell Walk branded T-shirt, giving you a lasting keepsake from the day and a way to show your support long after the walk is over.

How much can you fundraise for Heart of Kent Hospice?

If you purchase a fundraising ticket, we ask that you to aim for a minimum sponsorship of £50. This target is set to encourage community engagement and support for our cause.

We understand that raising this amount can be challenging, but every effort counts and makes a significant difference.

Here are some ideas to help you reach your goal:

  • You could ask 5 friends or family members to donate £10 each
  • Ask your colleagues or business to sponsor your walk or match your fundraising efforts
  • Use social media to share your fundraising page with a wider audience

While we encourage everyone to strive for this goal, we appreciate any amount you can raise. Your participation and dedication are what truly matter, and we are grateful for your support in helping Heart of Kent Hospice.

You have until Wednesday 2 June to raise your pledged amount!

The route is well signposted, and maps will be available ahead of the event. Please check the weather forecast before you leave home and dress appropriately. Sturdy footwear, like walking boots, is recommended as the path may be muddy.

The path varies but generally follows well-worn country trails. There are some hilly sections and stiles along the way. To help with pedestrian traffic, there’s an alternative route up the hill from Pilgrims Way at marshal point 3, which bypasses the stiles at Lower Dean Farm.

Portaloos are available at Glebe Field and at marshal point 11. We recommend using them before you start your walk.

What do I do when I've finished the walk?

Please come and see us back at Glebe Field when you finish so we can congratulate you! We’ll also ask you to use the QR code to check back in.
