Volunteers Week information pop-up stand

Come along to The Mall, Maidstone during Volunteers Week to meet our team and learn more about volunteering. This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the process of volunteering, the types of volunteer roles available or how volunteering would sit with your personal circumstances. If you are ready and raring to go, you can also complete our short expression of interest form so the team can get in touch.

Volunteering for Heart of Kent Hospice is a rewarding experience, you can gain new skills, meet new people and be part of something very special.

We are fortunate to have over 570 volunteers at Heart of Kent Hospice.

Our volunteers range in age from 14-95 and play a vital part in the work of the hospice.

Over half of our volunteers support our retail shops in the local community, while others give their time to help in the hospice or at our fundraising events.

There are many reasons why our volunteers get involved in our hospice. For some it is about giving back to the community and for others, it is their special way of saying thank you to the hospice for the care of a loved one.
