GVE’s golf day raises £2,193 for Heart of Kent Hospice

Thank You, GVE: Over Five Years of Supporting Heart of Kent Hospice

For more than five years, the Maidstone-based team at GVE has been a steady supporter of Heart of Kent Hospice, and this autumn they’ve added another chapter. Their Golf-for-Golfers day on 7th October brought together people from across Kent’s construction industry on the Bearsted course, and the day raised a fantastic £2,193 for our care.

Becky Stephens, Partnership Fundraiser, from our team joined the day to talk to players about the hospice and the difference their support makes. This latest donation continues GVE’s long-standing support of the hospice. They have been standing alongside us for more than five years, and we are so grateful for their commitment to our community.

Kerry Campbell, Partnerships Manager at Heart of Kent Hospice, said: “Heart of Kent Hospice exists for the community. Support from our local business community is vital for us to be able to continue supporting people and their families, living with a terminal illness, and providing compassionate end-of-life care when the time comes. Thank you GVE for your commitment and continued support.”
