Presidential dinner at Leeds Castle raises £2,000

A Presidential Dinner held at Leeds Castle on Friday 2 May 2025 and hosted by The Insurance Institute of Mid Kent has raised over £2,000 for the hospice.

President, Andrea Lees Farrell, chose the hospice as her charity of the year. Andrea said: “I am so pleased we could shine a spotlight on the compassionate care the team at Heart of Kent Hospice deliver in the local community and we are thrilled to have raised vital funds which will help them continue to provide the care for people living with terminal illness in Kent.”

David Dadswell, Corporate Partnership Manager said: "My sincere thanks to Andrea Lees Farrell ACII, President and the council members of The Insurance Institute of Mid Kent who held their annual black tie Presidential dinner event at Leeds Castle and chose the hospice as their charity to raise funds and awareness. Collaborating with organisations who take such an active role to support the community in this way is so rewarding and plays such a vital role in helping fund the compassionate care and support to those who need us in the Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge and Malling area."
