Sheep-nanigans to be re-auctioned in aid of Heart of Kent Hospice

We are delighted to announce that we are re-auctioning one of the amazing sculptures from the Shaun the Sheep in the Heart of Kent art trail. The money raised from the auction will be added to the total already reached from the charity auction in September which raised an incredible £265,250 from auctioning all the wonderful Shaun the Sheep Sculptures.

The auction is now open to sealed bids and will close at midnight on Thursday 5 December 2024.

This is a one-off opportunity to own Sheep-nanigans who was designed by artist Sadie Williams, realised by Hope Kinnersley and hand finished by Ralph Steadman.

Ralph Steadman has been writing and illustrating children’s books since the 1960s. ‘Sheep-nanigans’ is inspired by these works including Quasimodo Mouse, Again and his award-winning illustrations for Alice in Wonderland. The keen observer will spot many characters hiding all over the sculpture which incorporates Ralph’s sense of fun and love of nonsense.

The winning bidder of ‘Sheep-nanigans’ will also receive a selection of the very same books which inspired the decoration seen on the sculpture.

We are thrilled to be reauctioning ‘Sheep-nanigans’ as the final part of Shaun the Sheep in the Heart of Kent art trail. We are so grateful to the artists Ralph Steadman, Sadie Williams and Hope Kinnersley for putting together this beautiful piece which we hope will raise thousands for Heart of Kent Hospice
