How do you help to make people fee comfortable and safe?

"I love to find out what music people like because if we put that on, it can help to make things feel more normal for them, especially if we're all singing along too!

"One gentleman used sign language to communicate, and I know a little from when I was at school. He was astonished when I said "Good morning" in sign language and asked if he had any pain anywhere. He said I was an angel, which was so lovely."

How do you make a difference to families?

"It's wonderful to see the change in a relative when they've been caring for someone at home and I've helped to lift their worries away. There was one lady who was beyond stressed after caring for her Mum. Soon after arriving at the hospice she said, "Thank you. I've never seen Mum so relaxed. I can finally be her daughter again"
