This week is Hospice Care Week, an opportunity to celebrate hospice care nationwide and the incredible work done to ensure everyone can benefit from the best end-of-life care. At Heart of Kent Hospice, we're celebrating by running our own Thank-a-thon, saying thank you to everyone who helps us by being here to care for those who need our support.
We often hear the words ‘thank you’ from those we care for and their families. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you during Hospice Care Week. We are taking this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to our incredible supporters. You are the ones who make all the great work of the Hospice possible.
As part of the ‘Thank-a-thon’, between 7-13 October, Heart of Kent Hospice colleagues and volunteers will personally contact as many supporters as possible with phone calls, emails, postcards and visits to local businesses to say a big ‘thank you’ for all the wonderful support. Keep an eye on our social media channels for thank-you messages, too!
The ‘Thank-a-thon’ is our way of showing you, our supporters, just how much we value you. There are no catches - it’s a genuine, heartfelt thank you. Every donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated, and we want to ensure that everyone who supports the Hospice knows how much their generosity means to us.
Every year, we are incredibly grateful for the kindness of local businesses in our area. Their fundraising events, matched funding, volunteering, event sponsorship and offer of expertise make a massive difference in helping our Hospice thrive. Thank you for always keeping your doors open and supporting us in so many ways!
