Celebrating 35 years with a new book

Last week, we marked 35 years of providing compassionate hospice care to our wonderful community.

To celebrate, we launched our new book, 35 Stories celebrating compassion in our community, at a warm and welcoming event held here at the hospice. Contributors, supporters, representatives from trusts and foundations, stakeholders and local councillors joined us, and the room filled with laughter, connection and shared memories.

It was a special moment to remember everyone who has helped shape the hospice we know today. So much has changed over the past 35 years, but that sense of community has never left us.

We see it every day in the kindness of our colleagues and volunteers, the generosity of our supporters, and the trust patients and loved ones place in us. Together, you make it possible for us to help people live as well as they can, for as long as they can.
