The desire to show compassion to the dying and the bereaved is a profoundly human instinct but talking about death and dying isn’t easy. It can be hard to find the right words, and we may worry about saying the wrong thing.   

At Heart of Kent Hospice, we believe it’s important to help people feel more comfortable talking about death and dying. That's why we are asking our supporters to wear their hospice forget-me-not flower pin badge between the 5-11 May and show support of Dying Matters Awareness Week.
