Moonlit Memories Walk raises £21,000 for Heart of Kent Hospice

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Moonlit Memories Walk on Saturday 23 September 2023, so far over £21,000 has been raised for our Hospice!

The total raised included £1,380 raised by Hospice Ward Staff Pam Martin, Michaela Share, Leah Bishop, Debi Golding, Chloe Hazelwood and Sara Henderson who walked alongside supporters and families. Their fundraising page is named ‘Shining Bright’ and donations can still be made here.

After enjoying the pre walk entertainment and warm up exercises, everyone enjoyed an 8-mile circular walk round Aylesford, Larkfield and Leybourne. Medals were awarded to everyone who took part.

It was amazing to see 200 of our supporters light up the streets of Maidstone as they took part in our annual Moonlit Memories Walk, which has raised over £21,000 to date! A huge thank you to all of those who took part and fundraised for the Hospice and also a big thank you to the 45 volunteers without whom the event could not take place.
